Suburban Studios Birmingham Homewood I-65

Well, I had written a previous review boasting (AND STILL GIVING PRAISE) FOR to Jay and Tiffany. Those two are very personable, accomodating, and friendly as all get out. BUT, I am now I must say that Rodney, although he and I got off to a rough start, well, this morning he actually took the time to very politely and thoroughly explain some questions I had concerning my Choice Hotel points and I know he is busy, but he took the time and had the patience to do that and I was very appreciative. He also made it very easy to handle my deposit and to inform me that paying weekly would save me a significant amount of money. Although this place has its bad reviews and it's disgruntled guests, all in all, it is a private, conveniently located, and comfortable place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget needing a temporary or even more permanent place to stay.

I'm a professional captain and when the boat broke I needed a place to stay on short notice. I don't know the area at all and found Suburban Studios on the internet. I called and they fixed me right up. When I finally got there registration was fast and easy. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. The suite was clean and comfortable. It became apparent that it was an extended stay place and I was only there one night but I was treated like family.

The price for weekly can't beat. The only issues is I did see roaches but they were dead so I can tell they are working on the problem. Never had a issue with front desk just one time when I had reserved a room someone called asked me to pay for one nite when I had reserved for 7 nites. I asked her why i never have before she said because we about to overbooked. So I said my husband coming now can he check in early since we paying. She said yes but when he got there he wasn't able to.

So first off very reasonable price for all we got. Dishes in the room utensils pans amazing fridge and stove dishwasher the rooms were so clean and spacious. More than enough sleeping room for two families in the suite. They had extra blankets for the pullout sofa bed. I felt very well taken care of.evrn soap to wash the dishes. Plenty of towels I could go on and on but hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed am azing customer service!

Suburban extended stay hote is a very pleasant place to stay, The staff is wonderful, they are helpful and friendly, I especially would like to thank the Manager Kam and staff member Carla for their outstanding customer service, I truly appreciate all that they did to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are great, you feel more like you're in your own apartment with a kitchen, complete with a stove, refrig., microwave, & a dishwasher. They provide some things to get you started, depending on the length of your stay, i.e. 2 rolls of toilet paper, small bottle of dish detergent, 2 pkg of dishwasher detergent,, enough bathroom hand & bath towels and face clothes. And if you need to do laundry, there's a great laundry room on the permises.

Lucked up on the rate for this stay, otherwise I would have never been able to afford. Room was tidy, (minus the tub) but the best part, hands down, was the size of the room. Spacious with full or queen size bed and couch that rolled out into bed. A true full kitchen with large fridge and stove with oven. Even a few dishes and silverware. Location is convenient to almost everything. The guy at the desk was friendly but never encountered any other employees. It's not worth the normal price by no means but it definitely exceeds at half. Would recommend with pom poms and back flips if weekly price was at an affordable extended stay rate.

Love it here!! I have three small children so it is definitely kid friendly, however, if they could just put more pots and pans in the kitchen that would be great,only other complaint and keep in mind that I have been tolerant on both occasions due to me liking the hotel make sure u pay with a credit card or prepaid card that has the exact amount bc I've been overcharged twice at different times with my bank card and it take 5 to 7 days for that to go back on your account.
